I'm elated to share the cover for my upcoming debut, My Daddy Is a Cowboy, illustrated by the incomparable C.G. Esperanza, coming June 11, 2024 from Abrams Books!

This story is inspired by urban cowboys and centers Black Joy. It's also the first picture book ever to feature Panamanian American characters! I can't wait for you all to read it - I know you're going to love it!
